Cancellation policy

Plans change. Here's exactly when a booking is refundable, in plain language.

Last updated 2026

Guest cancellations (48-hour window)

If you cancel 48 hours or more before your stay begins, you receive an automatic refund of your booking total, less the non-refundable Park Her Up service fee.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the start, the booking is no longer automatically refundable. You can still request a review if something has gone wrong — our team looks at every request.

All timing is calculated in the local time zone of the space, not your device clock.

Host cancellations

If a host cancels your confirmed booking, you are refunded in full, including the service fee. You'll get an email confirming the refund, which typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days.

Cancellations during a trust & safety review

If we cancel a booking while reviewing a listing or host, you are refunded in full, including the service fee. This is never a reflection on you as a guest — we simply couldn't let the booking proceed.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor. We never issue refunds off-platform, and you should never be asked to accept one.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service isn't delivered as described, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the timing rules above.
